Bridge of the River Kwai and Tiger Temple 

This is the fantastic excursion trip out sideBangkok to the south west of Bangkok and some major points of tourist interestare described briefly as follows: Kanchanaburi is rich in tourist attractionsnatural, cultural and historical. This tour takes you to the world s renownedBridge on The River Kwai, Built during World War Two by prisoners of war. Thebridge is located near the town of Kanchanaburi.

TourTime : 07:30a.m.-17:30p.m.

07:30A.M.   Pick you up at Hotel lobby and Heading to visitKanchanaburi province.

09:30A.M.  Visit JEATH War Museum, a realistic depiction of prisoner of war livingquarters, with photographic, pictorial and physical memorabilia dating fromWorld War II. (mostly the British, Dutch, Australian and American) About 9000allied soldiers lost their lives in the very harsh conditions they weresubjected to while building the bridge and the infamous death rail way.

10:30A.M.  Take a local train to go to see hell fire and hostages camp which wasconstructed during Second World War.

11:45A.M.  Lunch at Kasae cave restaurant where you can see a wonderful scenery view ofKwai Noi  river.

12.45P.M. -13.10P.M.   Take a walk in the cave to see Buddhaimage.

14:00P.M.  Visit Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua - well known as Tiger Temple. The Tiger Temple.

15:00P.M.  Leave form Kanchanaburi.

17:30P.M.  Arrive Hotel.

About 9000 allied soldiers lost their lives in the very harsh conditions theywere subjected to while building the bridge and the infamous death rail way.You will visit the well kept cemetery where they rest in peace. Also includedis a visit to the JEATH War Museum where you can view the many historicexhibits.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant near the cave. After you have a nicelunch at Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, is a Buddhist temple in Western Thailand whichkeeps numerous animals, among them several tame tigers that walk around freelyonce a day and can be petted by tourists.

The Theravada Buddhist temple is located in the Saiyok district of Thailand\'sKanchanaburi province, not far from the border with Myanmar, along the 323highway. It was founded in 1994 as a forest temple and sanctuary for numerouswild animals. In 1995, they received the Golden Jubilee Buddha Image, made of80kg of gold.

In 1999 the temple received the first tiger cub; it had been found by villagersand died soon after. Several tiger cubs were later given to the temple,typically when the mothers had been killed by poachers. As of 2004, three cubshad been born at the temple and the total number of tigers was ten.
